It had been one of those days were Mark decided to get at the diner. It had the best burgers and Mark wanted one. He was suppose to meet some of his friends there, though he was the first one to show. This was typical since it seemed like he was always the first one to show up first. Any other time Mark wouldn't have mind being first. However, Mark was starving and after the crappy lunch he had at school he needed some good food. So he looked around the diner to see if he could spot an empty table. It was very packed in the diner, but luckily he had managed to find the only table that wasn't taken. He quickly walked towards the table and took a seat. A few minutes later a waitress had came over to take his order. Mark had ordered a triple burger with a large side of fries with a medium cherry coke. Once the waitress had his order, she walked away. Since he knew it would be a while, he decided to text some friends. They should have been here and Mark was curious to know what was taking so long. Most of them said they couldn't make it, but that they would be over Leo's like they planned. Mark sighed as it seemed like everyone had some other plans or they couldn't make it. Well since Mark had already place his order, he was going to stay here and eat. The waitress had came back with his drink and told him that his food would be out shortly. Mark nodded as the waitress walked away. He sipped on his soda as he waited for his food. Tagged: LEAH MARIE CLEARWATER

Deep down Leah knew that she should probably find it quite strange to be back so close to where she grew up and in a way she did but the truth was that more than anything she was happy to be back. The Quileute reservation that had been the home of her people for generations had been sold off by someone who had been happy to put a price tag on all of that history and heritage and just the thought was enough to make her blood boil but at the end of the day she knew that what was done was done. Her home was gone and now a hideous castle stood on the land that had meant so much to her tribe and while she knew that if she could do anything to get it back she would for now she was content just getting to know Forks once more. She hadn’t spent as much time there when she was younger as the others had, in fact until she joined Jake’s pack she hadn’t spent much time there at all, but now it was her home and she wasn’t planning on going anywhere so she knew that she needed to make the most of it. That day she had been busy scouting out what jobs were available since she still had yet to make her mind up as to whether she wanted to go back to school or try and find a career that would make her happy but after a long day of finding nothing she knew that she might as well give up for the time being and try again another day. She was about to head home when she her stomach rumbled and her plans immediately changed. She knew that she could have quite easily gone home and made herself something or gone to the Cullens’ and Esme probably would have fixed her something but she needed to get to know people in the town outside her crazy, mixed up family and spending time in different places around town was a pretty good way of doing just that. With that in mind she made her way to the diner and after glancing around she soon realised that the only table that wasn’t already full was one with only one occupant. It would have been easy to turn around and go somewhere else but Leah was confident in herself to make her way over and she flashed the boy an apologetic smile. “Hi. Would you mind if I joined you? All of the other tables are full.”MARK JAMES SWAN(I’m so sorry about the wait!)

While waiting for his food, Mark was on his phone playing a game. It was a mobile game that he liked to play when he was either bored or waiting for food. Since he was waiting for his food, it was a good time to play the game. He had been playing his game for a few minutes, before someone had approached the table. He paused his game and looked up to see that it was a woman. She looked to be a few years older than him. He listened as she asked if she count join him. The other tables were full so Mark didn't mind her sitting with him. "Sure you can sit here." He then gestured for her to take a seat. "It seems like everyone in town is at the diner," he joked. There was no seats available now that woman was at his table. There same waitress had came back to tell Mark that his food was almost done. She then turned to the woman and asked for her order. Mark went back to playing his gane after that. He wasn't sure whether he should start up a conversation or just sit there quietly. Tagged: LEAH MARIE CLEARWATER

It was a little strange being back in Washington after such a long time but the truth was that Leah was glad to be back. She had visited her mom and Charlie a few times over the years and they had kept her updated with how Harry and Beau were doing and then Harry’s children when they came along but it had never been quite the same. Now everyone she used to know was gone and she and the others had all moved on with their lives. It was a comfort to know that there were still those who shared her bloodline still in Forks, the Swan and Stanley families lived on and even though she knew that they could never learn the truth about who and what she, Seth, Bella and Beau were she at least wanted to make sure that they were safe especially now that the Volturi were so close by. She hadn’t thought that she would end up running into any of them so quickly, though, let alone that day while she was just trying to get a bite to eat. She didn’t know for sure yet whether the boy was one of the family but she couldn’t shake the feeling that he looked familiar even though she knew that they had never met before so she had hope. “Thanks,” she said, a smile touching her lips as she sat down opposite the boy. He seemed to be a few years younger than she was, perhaps around the age that Seth was when he first phased or slightly older, but so far he seemed nice enough. “I think you might be right. Is it always like this?” she asked as she looked around them for a moment before turning back to the boy. “I’m Leah, by the way.”MARK JAMES SWAN(I’m so sorry, I thought I had replied to this!)

Mark smiled as the stranger thanked him. "You're welcome," he said. "Though there's no need to thank me. It's the right thing to do." Besides it would have been rude if Mark say no to the woman. Mostly everyone in the diner knew who he was and his father. So if the police chief son did anything that was gentleman like, he would never hear the end of it. Plus Mark didn't have the heart to deny anyone a seat. It wasn't in his nature. When the lady asked was it always pack at the diner, Mark shook his head. "It's not always packed here," he said. "Usually not many people are here unless it's Friday or game nights. Though the food is great here so it's not surprising that it's crowded." He looked around the room, seeing most people chatting and eating. Mark turned back to the woman when she told him her name. "Nice to meet you Leah and I'm Mark Swan." The waitress had came back with Mark food and he began to eat. Since he and Leah had exchanged names, it was only fair with him to continue having a conversation. "So Leah, are you new here?" He hadn't seen her before, but he wanted to make sure. She could have relatives here that he didn't know about. Either way he was curious by the stranger in from of him. Tagged: LEAH MARIE CLEARWATER

“Well, I’m still grateful,” Leah said, a smile working its way across her face as she looked over at her new companion. She knew that she could have easily gone somewhere else to get something to eat but the diner was the closest and she had fond memories of the place from when she had ended up getting something to eat there with her mom when she visited so the truth was she hadn’t wanted to go anywhere else. Leah was slowly getting to know the place that Forks had become over the hundred years that she and the others had been gone but much of it seemed pretty similar to the way it had been back then and for that she was grateful. She hadn’t spent much time in the town before she phased but when her mom and Charlie had started getting closer she had found herself venturing into Forks more and more often and now it felt as much home to her as the reservation did so she was glad to be back. “I’ll have to remember that,” she nodded as he said it wasn’t always packed in the diner. That was how it had been when she had stopped by with her mom so it was good to hear that it hadn’t changed too much. She didn’t doubt that the food would have changed since her last visit but if his assurances were anything to go by then she knew that she was going to love it. “It looks like this is a great place for families. Are you sure I’m not stopping you from meeting someone?” she asked, knowing that she could easily leave him to it if he had just agreed to her joining him to be nice. As he told him her name she couldn’t deny that she was a little surprised, out of all of the people she could have ended up talking to she had found perhaps the one person in the place that she was related to and she couldn’t deny that it was a little weird to say the least. “It’s nice to meet you too Mark,” she said, making sure to mask her surprise as she spoke. “Are you related to the chief of police by any chance?” she asked even though she already knew the answer to that question. She had done her homework before she moved back to Forks but she knew she had to play along anyway. As a second waitress arrived with her drink and a promise that her food wouldn’t be too much longer Leah thanked her before turning her attention back to Mark. “I used to have family around here so I’ve visited a few times but I’ve just moved here with my siblings,” she nodded. “How about you, have you lived here long?”MARK JAMES SWAN
