The woman shrugged. "Well, like you mentioned - I don't know what kind of a man you are. Can't assume you're not wearing panties under those jeans." She wriggled her brows while biting her bottom lip, happily taking the beer from the bar. Two shots and two beers is light for the girl. This definitely didn't seem like a wine drinking sort of atmosphere at the present time, but perhaps she'd ask him to stock her favorites for her when the season died down and so did the hunters. "And you strike me as someone who knows exactly what she wants." That statement rang through her heard as if her head was suddenly an empty church and the bells were chiming. Memories of her fight to join her brother as alpha flooded to fill the momentarily emptiness. She had a few strong and unprecedented decades as an alpha on the same land that her father did. After a few more gulps of beer, she knew she wouldn't stop ripping out throats until she had many more. "Hey now, I didn't say I wasn't attractive. I know I am. Now I know you think so too." She winked. Whatever out-of-her-element feelings she carried in with her when she sat down were long gone, and Nola was coming out to play. "But, no. I think it's in your best interest you don't call one of them over here. Don't want anyone leaving your bar needing stiches, now." She grunted, scanning the pub to see who was left. "I don't need anyone's approval or objectification anyway. I could care less." Stormy, unpredictable. Hot and cold. Definitely the product of her gentle mother and fiery father. "How long have you worked here, anyway, Mr. Mysterious Bartender Who Thinks I'm Pretty?"

Letting out a bark of laughter. "Was that an offer to check?" he asked with a wink. "Cause I've half a mind to let you" he said with a grin before setting the bottle of Jack in front of her. "Would you like another?" he asked with a gesture to her empty shot glass. "Once the bar clears out I tend to just leave them on the counter." Zidane added as he glanced at the door to see how many people were still here and how many had left. Nodding more to himself then anything he reached under the bar and flipped a switch. Ceiling fans which had been on low revved up slowly and began to clear the air a bit quicker.
Chuckling as she said people would leave with stitches he grinned. He loved them fiery. Nothing better than finding someone who wasn't afraid to throw down if they were being insulted or degraded. "That might be something to see. I've been thinking about adding a little ring to the bar. See if people would want to throw down for some easy money and to let off steam. You think that might take off?" He asked her with a smile.
"Zidane" He said simply. "And about a month if you want to know. Moved here from upper Maine. Needed to get out of there. Somehow just traded one Rain soaked town for another just on the opposite coast." He said with a wry chuckle. One hand grabbing a rag and starting to wipe down the bar. Most of the 'hunter' crowd having left a giant sticky mess on the wood.

Sam tried to keep a straight face, but a chuckle did escape her lips despite trying to keep them pursed. "Well, this bar is full of undesirable scents already and I'd rather not uncover any more." She looked him up and down, her pride getting in the way of even joking about getting in his pants. "I've got a sensitive nose." The only thing that stopped the woman from continuing to look him over was the bottle being placed right in front of her. "I however will not say no to that." She said, nodding to the Jack. She grabbed it herself, pouring another shot before putting it down in front of him so he could pour himself one if he wanted. After all, she was a woman who knew what she wanted - and she doubted he would kick her out. She loved to test limits. Her little human ears perked up when he mentioned a fighting ring. She was torn, as usual. She had rehabilitated quite a few dogs on the reservation that had been victim to the unkindness of humanity; gladiators for their sick amusement. On the other hand, humans could consent - and she did have unhuman strength and muscles like rock. The tiny terror smirked. "An after hours fight club, eh? I do have a lot of steam to blow off and can't get it out right now in the usual way with all these hunters stinking up my woods." She took her shot, shrugging after. "But yes, Zidane, I do want to know, that's why I asked obviously." She smirked. Sam didn't consider herself a brat. More like... black bitter coffee. "But that's interesting. I've never left this coast. I really don't have an interest to, either." Sam leaned forward, resting both of her elbows on the bar as she slid her glass over to him. This time she would wait to take a shot with him. "I'm sorry to tell you, but you ended up in a really fucked up place."

He smirked as he looked at her. "Well. Never said it had to be right now. Could always come after a nice hot shower. or two" he admitted. "But then again. Who knows what your wearing under all that." he said with a wink. He knew that she was gonna either have a fun reaction to that. Or he was gonna have a fight on his hands. Either way he could blow off a little steam. Glancing around the bar he was grateful to see that most of the people had left. Just a few locals remained and the last of the staff were doing clean up.
"Then I'll ask around and make sure that it's all above board" He said with a wink. "don't need law enforcement coming down on me for having an illegal fight club. Saw that movie years ago. Don't need them shutting down my income." He chuckled as he remembered the ancient movie. "Hunters shut down your past time though? I'm going to assume it was in the forest. Don't blame you for getting out of the way. Bullets are no joke."
"It might be fucked up. But this place at least has a challenge to it that the last place didn't. I know that here at least I can hunt my prey." He said with a smile as he looked at her. "One that I KNOW is terrified of me." He chuckled before moving to pour himself a shot and downing it rather quickly.

Sam rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over the bar and raising a brow at him. "Are you saying you smell so bad that you have to take two showers, Zidane?" She smirked, knowing fully well that she smelled something in him that wasn't human. It smelled delicious - but she would never tell him that. His scent reminded her of what it felt like to be free in a way. When he mentioned what she was wearing under her clothes, however, she couldn't help but let out a growl. Her crossed arms got tighter and her face scrunched up. An animal is what was under her clothes. "You don't need to think about that. Ever." She hissed, her face turning red into a blush as she looked away. Clearing her throat, she huffed and reached for the bottle, pouring herself another shot. Someone would definitely be howling tonight. "I mean, I wouldn't put it past you to use fight club as an excuse for girls fighting in itty bitty T-shirts now that I think about it." She said with a scoff. The shot went down, and so did her filter. "I'm not afraid of them. I just have other people to look out for. I'm not afraid of anything." An absolute bold faced lie. The she-wolf couldn't help but tense up at his words. He was getting more and more peculiar. "So... you're a hunter, I take it?" She cocked her eyebrow up, sitting up in her bar stool and furthering herself from the man - not wanting to be prey.

"Just when making sure I want to be clean for a lovely lady as yourself." He said with a wink as he chuckled. "And now I'm not going to stop thinking about it" He added as she crossed her arms and looked away. He couldn't help himself. She was just making him more and more interested in her. And now that he could actually smell just her instead of the 40 other people she smelled intriguing. An almost clean smell in comparrison to the rotten smell that he associated with the hunters.
"So that's a no to the Jello ring then. However will I draw a crowd then." He gasped with fake dread and clutched as his chest. "Not my profits!" He exclaimed before giving her another shot. "I'm more of a hands on fighter. Would rather show my skill then watch a bunch of college co-eds duke it out for the entertainment of men. Women can fight for sure. But I'm not interested in seeing their goods unless it's offered to me freely." He said simply
Zidane nodded absently at the hunter mark. "I don't go hunting with a gun. I have axes, I have bows, Guns feel like cheating." He said simply. not to mention they don't do shit to vampires he thought to himself as he frowned. "Deer, Elk, the occassional brown bear when they decide i'm a threat." He said as he thought about it. "Never hunted a wolf. Don't hold to it. They are too important to the environment and health of the elk and deer." Zidane poured himself a beer finally while thinking about it.

Sam's eyes narrowed as the man flaunted his jovial and flirtatious aura. "You need to focus on scrubbing your brain rather than your body. I think that's somehow dirtier." She scoffed yet found herself unable to leave the bar. Any other typical woman would have found herself one shot, two shot, three shot, floor. Sam, however, was not the typical woman. She uncrossed her arms and put her hand into her palm, elbow back on the freshly cleaned bar. "If you don't stop thinking about it, I'll beat you so badly you don't even remember me." She tried to keep a straight face through the whiskey. "Don't make me run you out of town, boy."Her eyes rolled once more as he backtracked on the Jell-O ring and sexist infused fighting innuendos. At this rate, they might just roll into the back of her head. "I bet I can fight better than you." She grumbled, chin still on her palm and face furrowed into a pout. "And I would bet all the money in my pocket that the only goods your getting is the goods you like to imagine, as you say." With a wink she stuck out her tongue, and in her head, it seemed like a cute gesture and not a drunk face. The topic of hunting seemed to sober the woman up theoretically, as she took it seriously. "You redeemed yourself a miniscule amount. I have the slightest more respect for you since you don't hunt with guns." When the bartender mentioned not harming wolves, he redeemed himself even more. "Keep talking dirty to me, I like it. Appreciate a man who respects nature and animals." If she was joking, she'd wink, however, she wasn't. The shots brought the filter down and she was letting lose. If only he would go hunt the vampires that were watching over the Quileute land, making sure it's original people can't step foot on it.

Zidane guffawed at her response. "Well, I guess that I need to up my game." He said with a grin. Hearing the door click shut he glanced over and realized that it had literally just come down to him and her in the bar. "You know I still haven't caught your name Ms. I'll kick your ass." he said with a smile as he put down his rag and poured the pair of them another beer each. "But that's alright. I might just have to call you Ms. Beautiful for now" He winked at her.
Watching her as she said she could fight better then him and that he wouldn't be getting any he grinned. "Well. Normally I would say your right on the later part. But that first part has me curious." He said with a smile. "Been fighting most of my life. Haven't lost a whole lot of them in recent years. But then again. Family politics." He said simply as he moved to sit on a stool next to her rather then standing behind the bar.
"Talking dirty to you? I take it you like hunting the old fashioned way. Might have to see if you want to go with me sometime." He said with a smile and small nod. "I think that hunting with a bow is better in the long run. Cleaner kills. No wasted meat." He said as he thought about it. Not wanting to admit that most of the time when he hunted it wasn't even as a human.
He was starting to think that moving here was one of his better decisions. And if the vampire population was as active here as he was starting to suspect. He might have to break his own policy and get the rest of his pack here.

"The only game out of you I'm interested in seeing is your hunting skill." Sam paused a moment, raising a brow and looking at him up and down. "If you're as good as you're alluding to." Ending with a smirk, her nostrils flared. "And I prefer Ms. I'll Kick Your Ass." She growled playfully, shooting him an innocent glare through narrowed eyes. "So, are you a hunter for hire then? Because I have a list for you if you do." She said with her lips still curled into a tipsy twist as her eyes followed him without breaking contact. The whisky flushed her cheeks enough, and she switched to the beer he poured for her. After clinking her glass to his, she took a few gulps. Sam had to be careful as to not give too much away, and she didn't want him thinking she was trying to get a hitman to murder people and in turn run to the police. That wouldn't look too good. Sam's body shifted in her own stool as he sat in the one next to hers to. With her body tilted slightly towards Zidane she put her beer down on the bar and cocked her head to the side with an exaggerated exhale. "Are you doubting me, Zidane?" She snickered. "If I can take on all this liqor and still stand, you're like eating cake." With a wink she had a few more sips of her drink. Pacing herself wasn't in her vocabulary. It was in those moments of moving her body to face his that she noticed that everyone had cleared out. Somehow she hadn't noticed the overwhelming buzzing of debauchery had taken itself elsewhere, almost like he had taken over all of her senses. Sam took in a deep breath, ignoring the name exchange on her end and wondering how long she could get away with being Ms. I'll Kick Your Ass. "My people have been archers for generations, maybe I'll take you up on it one day. I mean I am a kick ass butcher in addition to just being a kick ass." She stuck out her tongue, moving slightly closer to him while she did so.

Zidane shook his head. "Not so much for hire. People who want to hire me to hunt for them wouldn't like my prices." He said as he thought about it. "Hire me to help train you to hunt. Much more reasonable." He said. "those who want me to hunt for them are in it for the trophies. Not the sustanance. Therefore, I'm not intereted in what they have to say most of the time." Sighing as he said that he took a long pull from his beer.
"I think that if you can take all that liqour and still stand your the girl of my dreams." he said. Knowing full well that she was already getting tipsy. Which wasn't expected. She was going almost drink for drink with him. And he knew his limits were still aways off. Watching her stick her tongue out at him he chuckled. "Well, I might have to bring my kills to you then. One of the few things I'm still working on is my butchering." He said with a smile as he looked down at her.
"As for Archery. My place backs up to the forest. I can set up some targets if you want to show off your skill." Zidane leaned towards her slightly to see her reaction before he picked up the bottle of jack from in front of her to pour the pair of them another shot.

Sam shrugged at what he said. Truthfully, she was only half serious, the other half dripped in unfiltered alcohol induced slip of the tongue. At the moment as Alpha, she wanted to do all the hunting to get her own trophies. The serious part in what she asked about his services for hire wasn't ready to reveal itself in why the question was brought up, so she dropped it. "Fair." She replied simply, not ready to tell him which 'trophies' she wanted and why she wanted them. She shook her head, shocked she was thinking of even bringing anyone into it. That is how she knew it was time to scurry home, before something slipped. Before she could move to get up another shot seemed to magically appear in front of her. She looked up at him, still close from sticking her tongue out. Sam scooted her bar stool closer, letting her knee brush lightly against his as she motioned her shot glass to him in the air in front of her face before shooting it down. "I was joking anyway. I can get my own trophies. And bed mates. So keep dreaming, because you won't find me there. I'm more of a nightmare find." She winked, grabbing aimlessly for her beer without looking down at the bar. When she found it, she finished the pint glass off. Sam hopped off the bar stool, and afterwards she slapped a hand on Zidane's shoulder. Smiling genuinely, she reached into the back pocket of her jeans for her wallet, taking out all the money because there was no tab for her to go off of - she was only carrying about one hundred dollars in cash regardless - and slapped it on the bar in front of him. With one hand on the bar, and one hand on his shoulder, she tried to find the strength to leave even as his smell pulled her in. The thought of ripping out throats played over and over again in her head; all this talk about hunting gave her an idea earlier that she just couldn't let go. "I love a good challenge so I will take you up on that one, Zidane." Sam let go of the bar, using his shoulder to push off and walk backwards slightly. She looked back, briefly checking where the back exit was as she happened to stumble into a cocktail table. She cleared her throat, trying to play it off. "Next time." She said before trailing off to the door. "I'll serve you that ass kicking as good as you served shots tonight." With that she backed into the door and with her hands behind her back she pushed open the emergency exit to the alley, assuming the front doors were locked, and slipped into the damp night. The night started with one foot in front of the other, but the stumbles made it hard for her to keep that rhythm going. All fours called to her.

HOME IS NOWHERE *twerk in progress* One foot in front of the other was getting harder and harder for Sam. The moonlight illuminated her path, but somehow it still seemed a little blurry. She tried to shake her head to clear herself of the feeling, but that only made it worse. A grunt of frustration left her lips as she looked for forest trail instead of pavement. She knew most of the hunters were most likely fast asleep in a drunken stupor as she was literally the last patron to leave the local pub that night. She hoped they weren’t out with their guns with one squinty eye down a barrel, but by the way the bartender was talking about their intellect, she wouldn’t put it past them. The woman swayed in the moonlight, her arms crossed as her breath turned into cloudy whispers of anger and exhaustion, redemption and recklessness. When Sam reached a park on the edge of the woods in Forks, she sat down on a bench and took off her boots and socks, tucking the latter into the former and hiding them behind a trashcan to retrieve later (if she remembered). She looked around, making sure she was alone, and although her senses were slightly depressed, she thought she had not been followed. She slipped into the woods, and instead of crossing her arms she threw them up in ecstasy feeling the dirt beneath her feet. She closed her eyes, running her hands down either side of her face and neck before feeling the curves of her body. When she reached her jeans she undid them, stumbling greatly once they were to her knees. The woman found a tree and used it to balance as she took off the denim, kicking her feet out of them wildly. She left them there in that spot as if she were raptured up, but it only took her a few more feet until she crossed her arms over the bottom hem of her flannel and lifted it up over head, getting stuck on the buttons. She stopped in her tracks, swaying slightly as she struggled in the speckled light of the moon peeking through the canopy of the treetops. She was stuck, and being bipedal was no longer working for her. She arched her back, giggling and groaning sounds coming off of the woman as she felt her body change. The sensations were all off. The condensation in the air thickening as her breath grew more rapid with her transformation. More words will go here and they will be wordy words of wordular wordity of la wordington city of werds
