Charlie is a descendant of Charlie and Sue Swan (formerly Clearwater) and is the police chief in Forks. He is the husband of Anna and the father of Ashley, Mark, Nina and Marie. He is also Miranda Stanley's younger brother. Charlie grew up listening to stories of the Quileute shifters and vampires but whether or not he believed this is completely open although he does carry the shapeshifting gene.

Born Anna Daniels, she is the wife of Charlie Swan and the mother of Ashley, Mark, Nina and Marie.

Ashley is the oldest child of Charlie and Anna Swan and a descendant of Charlie and Sue Swan (formerly Clearwater). He is the older brother of Mark, Nina, and Marie. His history is completely open.

Mark is the oldest of the two Swan twins, born half an hour before his sister Nina. Through the lineage passed down by Sue Clearwater he is a shapeshifter as is his twin sister although both have yet to phase. Everything else is completely open.

Nina is the youngest of the two Swan twins and was born half an hour after her brother Mark. Through the lineage passed down by Sue Clearwater she is a shapeshifter as is her twin brother Mark although both have yet to phase. Everything else is completely open.
