Earnest is the head of the Platt family, husband to Carine and twin brother of Esme. How Earnest became a vampire is open however he must have been in his late twenties. How he met Carine is also open. Earnest is aware that Esme is a vampire and the Platt and Cullen families are very close.

Carine is the wife of Earnest, adoptive mother of Grace, Adam, Royal, Eleanor, Archie and Jessamine and the adoptive grandmother of Aaron and Julie. Her personality and how she became a vampire is open, as is how she and Earnest met. She was turned in her late twenties.

When Grace was a baby both her parents died of a serious illness. Earnest and Carine heard her cry, found her alone and took her in. As she had no living relatives, they raised her as their own. They never lied to her and she was turned in her late teens when she fell fatally ill. She is the wife of Adam and the adoptive mother of Aaron and Julie.

Adam is the husband of Grace, father of Aaron and Julie and an ancestor of Jacob Black. He was the first in his generation to phase and accepted his birthright of Alpha of the La Push pack. Once the threat was over his pack started to imprint and Adam was the only one who continued to phase. After the last of his pack died he left in favour of going travelling and when he met Grace he imprinted on her instantly.

Aaron is the son of Adam, adoptive son of Grace and the older twin brother of Julie. Born as a result of one of his father's previous relationships, Adam never imprinted on Aaron's mother so their relationship was never meant to be. After the twins were born they were left on their father's doorstep and have been with him ever since. Aaron didn't inherit the shifter gene but was bitten by a Child of the Moon.

Julie is the daughter of Adam, adoptive daughter of Grace and the younger twin sister of Aaron. Julie's mother was never the maternal sort but after learning that she was pregnant she decided to carry the babies to full term and leave them in the care of their father who knew nothing about the pregnancy until the twins were left on his doorstep. She is the only twin who is able to phase.

Born in the Mycenaean age Mele is one of the oldest vampires in existence. After spending thousands of years alone she met Earnest and Carine during her travels and after observing their lifestyle for a few years she accepted the invitation to join their family. She has the ability to permanently transfer abilities from one person to another.
